Speakers' Series Inaugural Event

Neil Ashe, Chief Executive Officer of CNET Networks, was the Key Note speaker November 15th at the first ever GUBayArea Business Forum Speakers' Series. Sixty-five members attended the hour and a half presentation at CNET Headquarters in San Francisco, including Dr. Bud Barnes, the Dean of the Business School. Mr. Ashe presented a macro view of the current technology field and discussed its affect on media, as well as offering his observations on the future of both. It was extremely well thought out and presented. The event was organized by Simon Manning, Chair of the Business Forum, with the assistance of Patrick Tobin. The next Business Forum event will be in First Quarter 2008, details to be announced shortly.

The Business Forum is designed to provide GUBayArea members with a platform for their professional development and enrichment. Membership is open to all alumni and supporters of Gonzaga University.
